YK7236A CNC WORM WHEEL GEAR GRINDING MACHINE

 

YK7236A CNC Worm Wheel Gear Grinding Machine adopts continuous generating grinding principle similar to the machining of hobbing machine. The electric gear box (EGB) transmission shortens length of internal transmission chain and makes the machine feature high efficiency and high accuracy. The machine is suitable for grinding gear in batches.
 
Main functions:
1.     Electric gear box (EGB)   Electric gear box (EGB) of CNC system can realize parameters linkage between grinding wheel rotation axis, workpiece rotation axis, workpiece axial feed axis and workpiece tangential feed axis, satisfy the requirements of the gear indexing drive and differential drive when machining the gear, and accomplish grinding spur gear and helical gear.
2.     Continuous shift grinding   The same as continuous dressing of grinding wheel, the contact track of grinding wheel surface is renewed continuously and always keeps new dressed surface during grinding, which raises grinding efficiency.
3.     Profile and longitudinal modification   According to the needs of customers, we can make special diamond wheels for dressing profile, longitudinal modification is realized by CNC system controlling simultaneous workpiece radial feed axis and workpiece axial feed axis movement, thereby, all kinds of longitudinal profile may be obtained.
4.     Human-machine interface   The special human-machine interface developed according to the working characteristic of Worm Wheel Gear Grinding Machine can simplify the programming only need entering workpiece parameter and relevant technology parameters, and make diagnoses to the normal troubles.
5.     Automatic grinding cycle   Selection of manual and automatic grinding cycle is available for use. The manual grinding cycle is suitable for grinding single gear part, clamping and loosing of workpiece clamping head and stopping of grinding wheel feed can be intervened in by man. The automatic grinding cycle is suitable for grinding gear part in batches, wide grinding wheel and tangential shift movement ensure the grinding accuracy and uniformity of one batch of workpieces.
6.     Automatic dressing cycle   The on-line automatic dressing cycle of grinding wheel improves the automaticity of the machine.
7.     Grinding allowance distribution   Using the sonar sensor, dynamic uniform grinding allowance distribution of two flanks can be realized.
8.     Air blowing cleaning   Air blowing will be carried out after grinding to clean workpiece to reduce coolant oil pollution of site ground.
 
Main features:
1. Fully digital CNC system, driving system and high accuracy grating detection elements
The machine adopts fully digital Num Power 1050 system and Num HP servo driving system, communication between the systems is realized by using high-speed digital bus unit. The whole system has characteristic of high frequency response and capability of anti-jamming. The grinding wheel rotation axis, workpiece rotation axis and workpiece axial feed axis are all employs HEIDENHAIN’s coder and grating scale to improve measuring accuracy.
2. High precision rolling support
The spindle of grinding wheel selects IBC’s angular contact ball bearing with supporting mode of 4 in front and 2 in the rear, ID of the bearings isφ80mm. The bearing is single matched with spindle precisely, which has high accuracy and high rigidity.
The spindle of workpiece selects IBC’s angular contact ball bearing with supporting mode of 3 in front and 2 in the rear, ID of the bearings isφ70mm. The bearing is single matched with spindle precisely and can bear heavy workpiece weight, which has high accuracy and high rigidity.
The guideway of wheelhead adopts SCHNEEBERGER’s linear roller guideway, the driving screw employs THK’s rolling screw with low-friction resistance after make a special treatment, which makes wheelhead feeding system has high rigidity and high sensibility and guarantees longitudinal modification accuracy and grinding uniformity of one batch of workpieces.
3. Electro-hydraulic proportion driving  
Axial feed of workpiece is accomplished by electro-hydraulic proportional valve to control hydraulic cylinder. In this way, weight of work slide will be balanced. The work slide will move stably because of high damping characteristic of hydraulic oil.
4. Integral lubricating system
The lubricating system of the machine consists of diluted oil lubricating and grease lubricating. The dilute oil lubricating supplied oil by hydraulic station of the machine is used for lubricating parts of driving gear and lead screw, etc. The grease lubricating supplied oil by independent integral lubricating system is used for lubricating workpiece axis feed guideway. The operation only needs to check the system situation regularly.
5. On-line balancing of grinding wheel and grinding allowance distribution (attached drawing)
On-line balancing system of grinding wheel is composed of balance head on the end of grinding wheel, vibration sensor on the wheelhead and controller in the control cabinet. The grinding wheel can realize precise balancing during using the machine, which can effectively improve grinding quality of workpiece and prolong the service life of spindle.
Sonar signal sensor equipped in the balance head can dynamically check contact state between grinding wheel and workpiece, grinding wheel and diamond wheel on-line, realize dynamic uniform grinding allowance distribution of two flanks, and eliminate collision caused by error operation.
6. Dressing unit of grinding wheel and dressing roller
One set of on-line dressing unit of grinding wheel is installed on the wheelhead of the machine. For different modular gear, dressing can be realized through replacing change gear (attached change gear drawing). Dismountable diamond wheel dresser is furnished on the dressing bracket, two disk-shaped diamond wheels dress two flanks of worm grinding wheel respectively, each diamond wheel is fitted on spindle motor separately, and each spindle has its corresponding adjusting device, which can adjust profile angle on left and right flanks independently. A diamond point can be fitted on the dresser used for dressing the external surface of grinding wheel. (Attached dresser drawing)
To every Modified profile of disk-shaped diamond wheel correspond the relevant gear profile, the needed profile can be obtained through dressing the relevant diamond wheel. (attached profile graph)
7. Human-machine interface with dialogue
The special human-machine interface developed according to the working characteristic of Worm Wheel Gear Grinding Machine can guide operator program rapidly and adjust the machine. (Attached Main menu drawing)
8.     Filtering and cooling device
The machine employs grinding oil as coolant. Two-stage filter guarantees cleanliness of grinding oil, and the temperature control device with refrigeration action ensures constant temperature of grinding oil.
9.     Workpiece fixture
The reference accuracy and correct holding method of workpiece can directly influence the grinding accuracy of gear. A center and elastic collet ofφ40mm fitted underneath of work slide are used to center and clamp grinding arbor, the hydraulic oil controls clamping and loosing of elastic collet.
